I am an ex-schoolteacher, turned blogger and internet marketer.  As of August 2009, I am just getting started in the internet universe. So far it is very exciting.

I have always been in education in one form or another, so don’t be surprised if you see quite a few articles intended to teach.  I was a technical instructor in the telecommunications field for about 12 years and taught high school math for 8. I loved teaching, but also like for my life to change – to provide new challenges. 

One thing that has never changed is my love of books and reading. I read almost anything – non-fiction, fiction, history, biography, science, you get the picture. Last October I started a non-fiction bookclub. Often it has been difficult for me to find people to discuss non-fiction “finds” with others who also enjoy them. We are a small group, but have great discussions!

But, I started thinking, what’s to stop me from sharing my thoughts with a much bigger audience? Hence the blog! You will probably find that I like most of the books I read. It’s not because I’m not critical of books at times, but because I usually don’t finish books I don’t like.  There’s too much great stuff to read to waste time on something that I don’t like or get anything from.
